Fall in love with the process

Falling in love with the process, ie falling in love with the work. Is a vital part of being an artist. A lot of people want to skip this part and move on the success right away. In the words of Allan Watts; Once you stop chasing it, you will have it. 

Focus on actually doing the work that is needed to win, like a pilot who does a pre check before take off. This secures his landing on the other side. You wont always win sometimes you will lose. But either outcome at least you will know what to adjust on the other side. 

Being a artist or small company isnt easy, but the last thing you want to have to worry about is the outcome.
